About Me

Hi! Like all stories, mine takes twists and turns but with enough perspective, I can see the underlining life force that has propelled me through life's variegations.

I’m currently a SEO Consultant at Searchmetrics, previously a Senior Technical SEO Analyst at GR0 I've managed 20+ successful DTC ecommerce SEO campaigns and currently work with enterprise clients. Before that I had my own freelance SEO consultancy.

I am the child of Dominican and Mexican immigrants to the United States. Their stories run deep in my being, and I intend to honor them with my own. Born and raised in Miami, FL, USA, going to the University of Florida was a natural next step as I tried to go just far enough to grow out of my familial environment. At the University of Florida, I completed bachelor’s and master’s studies in Tourism, recreation, park management, ecotourism, and tropical conservation and development. My cornerstone projects were a collaborative ecotourism plan for a conservation site in Belize and a peace tourism project on the Turkish/Armenian border. I later worked in the tourism industry, at hotels and tourism agencies of different sizes in Brazil and Florida.

Following my career in tourism, I went on to manage an organic chia importing company, where I created processes to ensure our products met organic quality standards. This was a lot of fun, especially because it involved being out in nature, inspecting organic farms in Bolivia, Ecuador, and Argentina. After 3 years in the organic products' industry, I left the traditional workforce and became my best friend’s caregiver as she lived through metastatic breast cancer. Her passing was a big turning point in my life, it propelled my spiritual growth and a deeper opening of my heart. I internally hit the bottom of the barrel after she passed and have since risen and am happier than ever before. I got by with a little help from my Friends.

While I was home taking care of her, a dear friend visited and offered to teach me SEO, so I could get back in the work-force while staying home. I gratefully took that offer and ran with it.

I now apply the fruits of my studies and experiences to my SEO career and homestead where I tend to a self-established forest conservation area, a soon-to-be forest garden, two dogs, two cats, two horses, two beehives, and the part of Mother Earth that's in my backyard.
